“Our track rival for NK is La Salle Academy. A rivalry means someone that brings out your best competitiveness and someone you need to win against. Running against my rivals brings my fire to get me a personal record and close for qualifying for nationals.”

“For field hockey our rival is definitely East Greenwich because they are very aggressive, play a fast game, and are one of the best teams in the state.  We always give them a good game and we play our best when we go  against them. Before the rival game we usually have a pasta party to get us excited and ready to play.”

“Prout is our rival for hockey because they are a well-rounded team that is good in all areas. This makes Prout games to be high-intensity and makes me want to beat them.”

“Our rival this year for soccer was La Salle because last year they knocked us out in the finals. Their team has a very strong offense and they have multiple players who are highly proficient scorers.  They were tough this year but we ended the season with a state championship over Shea.”

“I like watching games when they are against rivals because everyone gets so into the game and it is more competitive. My favorite rivalry is NK vs. SK because it is the two different towns and has been a long rivalry.”
