Keilee Takata, Co-Editor in Chief, Staff Writer
Keilee Takata is a Jamestown resident and current NKHS senior. She is an avid music enjoyer, lifelong dancer, and recent biking enthusiast with an irrational fear of personal dismemberment. Growing up alongside the lapping waves of Narragansett Bay, Keilee assumes that if she was an animal she would be a seahorse, and many mornings she wakes up and desperately wants to go to WaterWiz. Her biggest dream is to build a house with her dad (something like the modern one in the movie Parasite), but the dream she’s currently chasing is to go to a liberal arts college to pursue film and psychology. Her favorite book is Toni Morrison’s Bluest Eye, and she’s looking forward to reading more of her work in AP Lit this year. Although Keilee loves the newsroom, if she had the renowned gift of teleportation, you would catch her in Nara, Japan right now.
