Every meeting there is a board game theme that we try and stick to. For instance, on cooperative week (play with each other rather than against) the club plays games like Pandemic, Forbidden Island, and Arkham Horror.

Sullivan and Ruggieri’s goal is to expose as many board games to the group as possible; therefore the next time their friends take out Monopoly, they can politely refuse it and pull out Catan or Dominion for a more enjoyable board game experience.

“Our first meeting went perfectly. We had a big game of Ticket to Ride. Seniors Vincent Ruggieri, Matt Duffy, Ryan Hanrahan, Kyle Sayre, and Nick Barzaghi, and I were surprised how into it everyone got. No experience is needed so come join the club,” said Sullivan.

Whether it’s Strategic Board Game Club or Business Club, students are encouraged to participate in either (or both) clubs.
