Hana Toler, Staff Writer
Sophomore Hana Toler is drawn to journalism by the opportunity of sharing her opinions fluidly, in a way that speaking doesn’t allow. A dancer, artist, and musician, Hana has a very creative mind, but doesn’t like to dwell on it much. She is a singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist for the band she formed with her friends: named Lizard Queen. She’s most skilled at the ukulele, but loves the guitar and how powerful it makes you feel. Hana is also into theater, and made a lot of new friends this summer at RI Youth Theater. Her favorite trip was to Amsterdam about four years ago, where the interesting language bemused her, the art was really cool, and the pride fest was even cooler. Her favorite movie is Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, and she dreams of being an actress; someone who weirds people out like Aubrey Plaza. Hana’s death row meal is her mom’s home-cooked pesto, with some garlic bread on the side.
