The NK girls basketball team starts a new season after last year’s state championships.
Senior Brenna Coppola
1.How will this season be different from last year’s?
Majority underclassmen because we graduated 6 seniors. Also we are smaller and more guard heavy.
2. Any lasting traditions from last season?
Touch the top of all the doorways we walk through before the games.
3. What is your strength and weakness?
Leadership and strength are my strengths and ball handling is my weakness.
4. What will you be expecting this season?
For all of us to put in a lot of hard work and have a fun and successful season.

Yes, rap

Team chemistry, boxing out, speed
2.What do you do to get ready for a game?
Exchange sister snacks, listen to music

Strength: rebounding
Weakness: ball handling

Hopefully we take the ‘ship again this year and have another successful season

Team bonding away trip

We don’t have as many returning players this year

We will have an even more positive atmosphere this year

We will talk more on defense

Before big games, we write a key word or quote on a slip of paper and put it in our sock
4. What advice do you give to upcoming NK girls basketball players?
Work hard in the preseason, come to open gym, and don’t be nervous!

Yes, 70s and 80s hits
