To the Editor:

At North Kingstown High School there are a lot of programs for students to take part in, but one activity they are missing is bowling. There are many reasons why the school should have a bowling club that are beneficial to both the students and the school itself. The cost of a bowling club is cheap, for a team of 10 players to bowl 2 games and rent shoes once a week for 15 weeks, it would cost roughly $1,350 for the games based off the prices at Kingstown Bowl. The addition of a bowling club would raise the amount of kids that are included in an after school activity, this raises school spirit in students that wouldn’t stay after for another after school activity. Because of this, their confidence will be higher and academic performance could improve.
