The Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) held its first official meeting on Oct. 3 in room 209. President Alexis Ada Adamonis, junior, and advisor Mr. Josh Zahren hosted this meeting to get everyone settled in and welcome the new freshman members.
A new SAGA begins

As part of Spirit Week, on Weds., Oct. 16, students dressed in "frat vs. sorority" theme. Sophomores Lola Sheridan, Maddie Sisson, and Brooklyn Serrels showed their school spirit by dressing as frat boys. Advisor, Mrs. Cecile Jones, said, ¨Spirit Week is a lot of fun for the students. If I was a student I would've loved it. Students still have a little kid in them which is great.¨

On Friday, Oct. 18, junior Mia D'Andrea attends the Pep Rally concluding the 2024 Spirit Week. Compared to previous years, many students were not as pleased with this Pep Rally. Mia was one of those students who noticed a drastic difference in how not only the Pep Rally was conducted, but Spirit Week as a whole. She explained how there were many last-minute changes that made it confusing for the students. "It's been a bit of a rough rally," Mia said. "I wish there was better coordination. It would've made Spirit Week a lot more fun."
