Sophia Azzolina is currently a junior at North Kingstown High School. She decided to take journalism this semester because she has always enjoyed writing and is considering journalism as a future career choice. Although Sophia typically writes short stories, she is excited to experiment with a different style of writing. She is most eager to report on current events and politics. Sophia partakes in the school’s Symphonic Band and Senior Jazz Band, playing the alto saxophone, and also is a member of the debate club. Aside from writing, she enjoys crocheting, reading, baking, and listening to music.
