The Current Wave is a student-led newspaper serving the North Kingstown High School and the North Kingstown community. Several issues are usually published annually under the supervision of Mrs. Elizabeth Kenworthy and Ms. Katherine Daley, the newspaper’s advisers.

Students interested in joining the school newspaper should enroll in Multimedia Journalism at NKHS. Multimedia Journalism is a semester-long course that explores the baseline ropes of journalism, where students typically publish 3-5 articles a term.

We are always looking for new members, so anyone is welcome! We need writers, artists, photographers, and anyone with a niche interest they would love to tell the world about.
